Photography and art have been part of my life long before they became my profession. From an early age, I was never interested in simply showing things as they are. I wanted to reinterpret them, create emotion and look beyond the obvious. This mindset still defines my work today.
My first connection to photography began in childhood. My mother worked for Polaroid, and our home was filled with cameras, film and creative freedom. That environment shaped my understanding of images and their emotional power from a very young age.
Before photography became my main focus, my life was shaped by sports. I was a professional snowboarder and deeply rooted in action sports for many years. After a serious accident, I was forced to end my athletic career. A difficult moment that ultimately shaped the path that followed.
One of my sponsors asked me what else I did besides sports. Since I already held a master’s degree in photography and design, they did not let me go. Instead, once my health improved, I spent six years traveling the world, covering world championships and European championships in snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding and BMX. I was suddenly in the middle of global action sports events, this time with a camera instead of a board.
During this time, my first commercial projects emerged. I photographed bikinis, shirts and products for snowboard and skate brands, often at beaches or in urban environments. These images appeared in magazines, stores and advertising campaigns.
Those projects marked my first steps into fashion and product photography. This was where sport, movement, design and visual aesthetics truly merged.
Over time, these experiences evolved into a visual language of my own. I explored many creative directions, never confined myself to a single category and never allowed criticism or trends to define my path.
After completing my master’s degree in art and photography, I refined my approach and learned how to combine concepts, emotion and space into strong visual narratives.
My process is intuitive. I often work without traditional moodboards. Most ideas emerge through conversation. When I listen to someone’s story, images start forming immediately and that is where the creative process begins.
I am not a theorist. I believe in doing, in momentum and in authentic presence in front of the camera.
Today, Patrick Art stands for modern photography, videography and content creation on an international level. I work between Mallorca, Germany and global projects, creating visuals across fashion, advertising, sports, real estate, product photography, art and social media.
Alongside my creative work, I operate my own studios and locations in Munich and collaborate with a strong international network. This allows projects to be executed with clarity, efficiency and a consistently high visual standard.
My work is driven by atmosphere, aesthetics and storytelling. Every project is a collaboration built on trust and the shared goal of creating something that goes beyond the ordinary.
Art begins where you dare to see differently.
That is where I work.
If you have questions, want to learn more about my work or feel like collaborating on a project, just send me a message.
Whether you already have a clear idea or just an initial thought, we will find the right way to develop it together.
Patrick Art is a photographer, videographer and visual artist. My work combines art, storytelling and commercial productions. I work between Mallorca, Germany and international projects, creating visual concepts for brands, people and ideas.
Both. Before focusing fully on photography, I was a professional snowboarder. After a serious accident, I was forced to end my sports career. Photography became my new form of expression and later my profession.
Action sports shaped my sense of timing, movement and decisive moments. I know what it feels like to push limits and how important single moments can be. This understanding still influences my work today, whether in sports, fashion or campaigns.
Emotional, modern and intuitive. I do not work by rigid rules. I create images from the moment, focusing on atmosphere, feeling and authenticity rather than perfection.
Most of the time, no. Many ideas emerge through conversation or during the first meeting. Once I hear a story, images start forming in my mind. I prefer an intuitive process with room for development.
Both. My work is artistically driven, but always with the goal of creating real value for brands, projects and people.
I am based in Mallorca but regularly work in Germany and internationally. I travel wherever the project requires.
Trust, openness and a shared vision. The strongest results come from collaboration and an environment where creativity can grow.
